	Woodland Maiden stands on top of a glass mosaic base that incorporates all the colors of autumn and the forest. There are metal tree branches and leaves and orange berries surrounding her legs. She wears a sheer net dress accented with feathers. The bustle on the dress or tail of my pretty bird lady is made of pheasant, peacock and other exotic bird feathers. I gave her feathers for hair too instead of using more realistic hair. I like the way her large blue porcelain eyes peak out from under the feathers ... it reminds me of birds hiding in the trees.
