Glimmer is delicately balanced on one foot and caught in movement. She is feminine and lovely. She wears only a sheer silk skirt that is tied low around her hips, a real silver arm band made by the artist, and a tiny anklet of quality CZs also made by the artist. Her silk hair is adorned with a garland of tiny paper flowers and clear Swarovski crystals. They are also at her feet.

She stands on top of a clear crystal vase that dances inside with air bubbles. The vase was a gift from a dear artist friend from The Netherlands. She hoped it would inspire a future piece. I think it truly inspired this piece. The vase is centered on top of a mirror. The upper part of the base rests on top of a metal and sculpted stand accented with lace that has been painted silver. If you look closely … you will see Glimmer has a sheen of silver glitter all over her body … and there is just a bit of snow on her stand.
